Since all our products are handcrafted and are manufactured only on order, we don’t offer returns. Please go through our Exchange Policy for the same.

We get it – it's tough when something isn’t quite what you expected, especially when it's a unique, handmade gem. But don’t worry, we’ve got your back!
Returns/Exchanges? Only If There’s a Defect.
Since every piece we create is handcrafted with love by our talented artisans, no two are exactly alike. That means minor variations are completely normal! However, if you’ve received a product with a genuine defect, we’ll happily work with you to make it right.
Here’s What You Need to Do:
Snap a pic of the product showing the defect.
Email it to us at connect.alankaar@gmail.com along with your order number.
If your item is eligible for exchange, you have 7 days from the date you received it to reach out. We'll take care of the shipping for the new item, but you’ll need to cover the return shipping costs (and make sure to include the original packaging).
No Refunds or Exchanges for Non-Defective Items.
Because each item is made by hand and has its own little quirks, we can’t offer refunds or exchanges for reasons other than manufacturing defects. But we hope you love what you ordered—our artisans put their hearts into every creation!
Oops, Changed Your Mind?
We totally understand—life happens! If you need to cancel your order, no worries. Just let us know before it’s been shipped. Since we’re all about getting your gorgeous bags and home décor to you as quickly as possible, a heads-up as soon as you can is super appreciated.
Once we’ve processed your cancellation, we’ll refund you through your original payment method. You’ll see it pop back into your account within 7-10 working days.

All our goodies come beautifully packaged in a signature Alankaar box and a dust bag—perfect for building up the excitement (whether it's for you or someone else!).
If you’re sending it as a gift, simply let us know during checkout. You can even add a personal note, and we’ll tuck it in with your order. Just provide the recipient's address and phone number, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Easy Peasy
To keep your bag looking fab, here’s what you do:
- Store It Right: When you’re not using it, pop your bag in the dust bag to keep it safe from dust and dirt. Stuff it with a little tissue or soft material to help it hold its shape!
- Keep It Dry: Jute and liquids don’t mix! Avoid spills, and if it gets wet, blot it gently and let it air dry.
- Avoid Heat: Keep your bag away from direct heat sources (no sunbathing for your bag, please!) to prevent it from losing its lovely shape.
With these simple tips, your bag will stay looking awesome for years to come!
